Born and raised on the sunny coast of Los Angeles, with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of real estate, Tony Zapata has become a valuable asset to the Pinnacles Estates team. Tony is currently representing buyers and sellers in both Malibu, Ventura county and Santa Barbara Markets. In the mid 90's, Tony earned recognition in the mortgage and lending industries representing the most notable names in Hollywood. He has transitioned into real estate sales, tackling the challenging aspects of approximately 200 condominium conversion sales before focusing on single family homes, estates, and income properties. Internationally, Tony spent a few years working the off-seasons on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico representing sales in a newly-constructed 150 million dollar resort development. Tony has also had the opportunity in representing all cash investors in the Santa Barbara area, overseeing construction and house flipping, maximizing his clients net gain while enhancing neighborhoods one house at a time. Tony's drive, confidence, charisma, collaborative spirit, and social grace matured over the years as a professional volleyball player where he was a winner of 2 out of 3 medals in Chile competing for and representing USA, as event winner in Montreal Canada competing for and representing USA, a teen sensation surfer and finally a 7 time champion of the prestigious Manhattan Beach 6-man Volleyball Tournament. Local interest include Coaching at Malibu High (2 undefeated seasons) and Our Lady of Malibu (his Alma mater) as well as introducing beach volleyball clubs (Zuma Beach) and is the owner and operator of Exclusive surf Malibu Tony feels “it’s important to give back to the community & help build confidence both in and out of the water."
